It's not all rubbish!
Even though you’re stuck at home, you can still do your bit. We can all help the environment by thinking about what you throw away, and find ways to reduce, reuse, or recycle your waste. On these pages, each week, we will share a few hints and tips, and provide some fun and creative activities using bits and pieces you might throw away.
There will be things you can make and games you can play, so keep checking in!
Activity 9: Toilet Roll Tree
Bring a little of the outside in, using leftover loo rolls and some cardboard to craft your own trees!
Activity 8: Bird Feeder
Encouraging wildlife into your outdoor space is a great activity for days when you're stuck inside. Reuse an old juice carton, and once you've made the feeder let us know how many different birds you can spot!
Activity 7: Bee Bowl
Activity 6: TetraPack Wallet
Turn waste into wonder with this TetraPack Wallet.

Activity 4: Fashion Revolution Week
It's Fashion Revolution Week and we love this creative way to combat the wastefulness of the fashion industry! One garbage truck of clothing is dumped in landfills every second! An increase of just 3 months of the life of an item of clothing can reduce its carbon, water, and waste footprints.
Work new life into an old t-shirt by turning into a trendy tote bag.
This week we celebrate #EarthDay2020. This day was first set up in 1970. Way back then there wasn't social media or the internet, but still the organizers of the first Earth Day in 1970 managed to bring together 20 million people to learn about the environmental problems we faced and act to address them.
Join in as we help make EarthDay2020 even bitter. Show your love for our planet by making a Green Heart to hang on your window!
Activity 2: Easter eggs
Who knew a plastic bottle would make a great container for those Easter Eggs. Instead of sending chocolate to your family, try writing an Easter Kindness Pledge instead, and pop it inside your bottle basket. I know which gift I would rather get! Download the activity here or at the bottom of the page.
