Could you be E5's first 10xGreener Community Gardener?

10xGreener is an innovative new project to make E5 more attractive to wildlife and improve residents’ well-being.

The part-time role has been funded following a successful crowdfunding campaign. As our first gardener, you’ll help us do this by creating a vision for a greener E5, connecting up neighbours, and giving neglected front gardens some TLC to make them more beautiful and wildlife friendly.

This is a great opportunity for a individual or small team. You'll be starting off by working on just a handful of demonstrator gardens inside our pilot area, but will have the opportunity to grow the project throughout the neighbourhood. The role requires both gardening and community organising skills. You will be working with local residents, businesses, Friends of the Earth and EcoActive.

Fee: You will be self-employed, with a contract worth £6,500 for 300 hours or an average of 6 hours a week.

To apply: please send your CV and a covering letter to admin@ecoactive.org.uk by Wednesday 19th September.

Interviews: will take place on Thursday 27th September
