St Luke's Wildlife Garden

EcoACTIVE have been working in partnership with St Luke's Church to create a beautiful wildlife garden in the grounds of St Luke's Church, in Hackney.

Previously a disused space which was covered in litter and dog mess, it is now fast becoming an enjoyable space well used by members of the local community.

The land belongs to St Luke’s Church, who have kindly invited EcoACTIVE to help transform it into a garden which all members of the local community are invited to use and enjoy.

Working in the Garden

We planted a new hedgerow and some shrubs for wildlife, painted four planters with groups of local children and had a doggy fun day with the Dog’s Trust. We put in some lovely log effect stepping stones, and a new bench and notice board. Read our press release as part of Love Parks Week here.
