We deliver engaging, interactive and creative learning experiences to people of all ages. We educate audiences on a range of global environmental issues using clear communication and creative activities. We inspire generations and provide practical solutions for how we can live more sustainability. We reinforce our firm belief that acting on an individual, community and local level can have a positive effect globally.
At this time of the Covid-19 crisis, ecoACTIVE are working harder than ever to keep the connection going between people and their environment. We're adapting our workshops to be delivered online, and we're creating fun and hands-on sessions to do at home. Check out our Learning at Home section here to join in.
When things are back to normal, ecoACTIVE can deliver workshops to accommodate a range of audiences; we can visit your classroom, workplace, home, community gathering or event space.
Single Workshop: These are 1- 2 hours depending on topic and age of participants; on average most workshops are for 1.5 hours. During this time, you will be given an overview of your chosen topic either as a presentation or discussion which includes up to date information on environmental issues, how these relate to our everyday lives on local and global scales while offering advice on what we can do as individuals to make a difference. You will be able to choose from a range of creative activities to support the topic; these could include up-cycling & recycling crafts, air & soil experiments, games or starting a campaign.
Workshop Program: ecoACTIVE can offer a set of workshops across a number of weeks to focus on a specific topic in more detail. Our experience has shown us that working in a group and gaining a deeper understanding of an issue has a bigger impact in taking positive action. Create a personal project that builds in strength from each workshop; this might include setting up a community garden, implementing sustainable practices in your home or workplace or designing your own campaign strategies.
