Join ecoActive at Springfield Park for a series of family activities. Learn about the nature and history of Springfield Park in our activity packed family walks.

The 4.73 hectares park directly opposite our new base at The Leaside Trust and has extensive views across Walthamstow Marshes.

Thanks to funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund we’re hosting FREE monthly family activities exploring a series of different themes.

Autumnal walk - Fruits and Seeds

Learn about soil and nature’s recyclers such as beetles and spiders, and spot some webs.

Identify fungi found in the park and discover how Nature prepares for winter!

Trees in Winter, Their Value and Folklore

Learn how to identify trees during the winter and find out how wildlife survives during this chilly season.
