At ecoACTIVE, we believe in the power of education to create lasting environmental change. Every child deserves the chance to learn about the planet and how to care for it—no matter where they live or how much their school can afford.
That’s why we’re launching our Green Match Fund campaign, and we need your help.
Why this matters
Now more than ever, we face urgent challenges:
🌍 The climate crisis is accelerating.
🌱 Nature is under threat.
🏫 Schools are trying to navigate sustainability with limited resources.
💼 Young people need green skills to thrive in tomorrow’s job market.
Our work addresses all of this—through fun, hands-on workshops that connect learners to the natural world and empower them to take action.
But too often, schools in deprived areas can’t afford these vital learning experiences. That’s where the Green Match Fund comes in.
Campaign Overview
With the support of the Green Match Fund and the generous backing of OVO Foundation, we’re aiming to:
✅ Deliver free or subsidised sustainability workshops to schools most in need
✅ Support schools in creating and implementing Climate Action Plans
✅ Provide green skills and sustainability training to college students
✅ Mentor teachers so they can confidently lead sustainability efforts in their schools
Where the money is going
Your donations will directly fund:
Experiential workshops on topics like urban ecology, energy and climate, air pollution, and waste
Free training for students in further and higher education
Ongoing support and mentoring for teachers and school leaders
Practical, local environmental action led by young people
Our Impact So Far
In 2024–2025, we:
🌱 Delivered 90 Earth Education workshops
👧👦 Engaged 2,503 young people and 364 adults
🏙️ Worked in 10 London boroughs
🌍 Reached even further through webinars and partnerships with universities in Essex and Dublin
Topics ranged from food growing and water scarcity to sustainable travel and green careers—giving young people the tools to shape a greener future.
What we’re making possible

Discover career pathways in the green sector
Inspire others to take action and shift behaviours
And teachers will feel more equipped to lead the charge—developing climate action plans and embedding sustainability across school life.
