As we step into 2025, we’re thrilled to share the latest updates, stories, and opportunities from the ecoACTIVE Community Garden Network. Our network of thriving green spaces continues to grow, bringing together gardeners, nature enthusiasts, and local communities across Hackney to connect, create, and cultivate.

We are passionate about creating opportunities for communities to connect with nature, learn sustainable practices, and thrive together. Thanks to the generous support of The Julia Rausing Trust, we are expanding our mission to foster vibrant community gardens and empower individuals through education, collaboration, and environmental stewardship.

Our community garden network seeks to help community gardens and community gardeners to get together and share ideas and experiences, as well as skills, training and funding possibilities. Through these activities our small and increasingly resilient network of gardens and gardeners in Hackney is growing.

The waiting list for plots will re-open for new members between 1st and 29th February 2024.

The Hackney Allotment Society members agreed at the AGM in October 2023 that the waiting list will be re-opened for a limited period to admit up to one hundred new members. The application period will run from 1st and 29th February 2024.
