Grow Forests

Commit to a Greener Future

For corporations committed to making a long-term environmental impact, our "Forests" are organisations looking for the opportunity to engage in substantial donations. These strategic partnerships not only bolster our core funding but also play a crucial role in facilitating the delivery of long-term projects that significantly impact our community. Through their generous contributions, initiatives such as The Hackney Buzzline and our Community Garden Network are brought to life, fostering a stronger and more connected community. These partnerships enable us to offer forest school sessions, where children can learn about nature and sustainability hands-on, and provide environmental education at our Leaside setting, empowering the next generation with the knowledge and skills they need to care for our planet. By aligning with our mission, our partners help promote sustainable practices and environmental stewardship throughout the community.

Volunteering and Core Funding

Hiscox Foundation have made two donations to ecoACTIVE - £15k in 2021 and £17,500 in 2023. Some of their staff have also volunteered (once in April 23 and again in July 23), helping with meadow sowing and gardening tasks in Daubeney Fields.

Forest School Funding

Faber & Faber Ltd have made two donations towards ecoACTIVE's forest school programmes. £4000 in April 23 and £5000 in March 24.

We chose ecoACTIVE as our environmental outreach partner because of their excellent work in schools and communal spaces, which aligns perfectly with our belief in educating and supporting the next generation and building community.

How donations support us

  • The Hackney Buzzline

  • Community Garden Network

Getting outdoors, socialising, learning new skills and connecting with the earth and the natural world can have a really positive effect on our mental and physical health and the way we interact with each other.

  • Sow Seeds

Perfect for organisations looking to make a one-off donation, host a small fundraising event, or book a team lunchtime webinar.
