The OVO Foundation funding is helping ecoACTIVE's develop and deliver a experiential learning program where young participants are immersed in a world of environmental awareness. ecoACTIVE has today accredited as a Living Wage Employer. Their Living Wage commitment will see everyone working at ecoACTIVE receive a minimum hourly wage of £11.95, significantly higher than the government minimum for over 23s, which currently stands at £10.42 per hour.

Collins Property Recruitment, a leading recruiter in the property sector, recently organised a World Cup Sweepstake in November 2022 to support ecoACTIVE. FoodCycle Bow Road holds their meals every Friday evening at the Bow Road Methodist Church, while FoodCycle Hackney meets every Thursday lunchtime at the New Kingshold Community Centre. FoodCycle are currently seeking Hosting Project Leaders to join and lead our teams at these sessions.
